Arita M. L. Bohannan graduated cum laude with
a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management. She
obtained her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans,
School of Law. Additionally, she received a Certificate of
Common Law and a Certificate of International Law. Ms. Bohannan
was published in the Loyola Law Review and was a guest speaker
at the Symposium Against Domestic Violence. She was one of
four chosen to represent Loyola at the National Trial Competition.
She was the winner of the 2001 Association
of Trial Attorney’s Board of Advocates In-House Trial
Competition.
Ms. Bohannan worked as a law clerk for the Orleans Parish District
Attorney’s Office and as a Clinical Attorney for Loyola Law School
working with the Orleans Parish Indigent Defenders Board.
Ms. Bohannan is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the New
Orleans Bar Association, the Association of Trial Attorneys, the American
Bar Association, the Kenner Professional Women’s Association
and the Better Business Bureau.
Mrs. Bohannan serves on the Board for the Metropolitan Center for Women and Children an the Kenner Professional Business Association.
With a wide scope of previous work experience, and a successful legal
career and family, she brings many assets to the table which she will
use to aggressively pursue your legal endeavors.
Lauren Davey Rogers
Attorney at Law
Mrs. Rogers received a Bachelor of Arts in English from LSU in 2002. She then attended Loyola Law School and graduated in 2005 and was admitted to practice law later that year. She received certificates in both Civil Law and International Law.
Prior to attending law school, Mrs. Rogers worked for the Honorable Kerk R. Granier of the 29th Judicial District and subsequently clerked for him after her first year of law school. She began her career with Bohannan & Associates in 2003 and joined as an associate attorney after her admission to the bar.
Mrs. Rogers is currently a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. She recently served as the Vice-Chairman of the 29th Judicial District Indigent Defender Board.
Her primary interest of practice are family law, wills and estates and personal injury.
Peggy Jo Covington
Paralegal
Peggy Jo Covington completed the Legal Secretary Program at Delgado in 2005. She is currently enrolled and near completion of Tulane University’s Paralegal Program.
Peggy Jo brings a great deal of compassion and experience to the office. She is a board member of the Kenner Professional Business Association.
Peggy Jo is the mother of three lovely daughters.
Jacqueline Gordon Williams
Paralegal
Jaqueline received her Associates of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies and her Paralegal Certification at Tulane University in June of 2006, where she was on the Dean's list. She began her career as a Paralegal with Bohannan and Associates in February of 2006.
Jacqueline brings her law experience to the firm by assisting the attorneys with drafting letters, motions, discovery responses and requests, judgments and managing the client's accounts.
Jacqueline is a member of the Tulane University Paralegal Association and Kenner Professional Business Association. She serves on the board for the Herzing College Paralegal Advisory Board and as Director of Membership for the Kenner Professional Business Association.
